Started at a cost of $70 million by Earl Patterson Hall, Charlotte businessman, on March 31, 1973, Carowinds is an amusement park located on the border between South and North Carolina. Inspired by an amazing Disneyland trip, Carowinds park was opened with the intention of putting the two states, North and South Carolina together. There are lots of themed areas and attractions including Carowinds Plaza, Carolina RFD, Carolina Boardwalk, Carolina Showplace, County Fair, Thrill Zone, Planet Snoopy, Carolina Harbor, Paladium, etc. waiting for people who wants some excitement to enjoy. Carowinds now is accepting job applications for the 2016 season, and over 4000 seasonal associates are being employed.
