About Alliance for Greater Works

Brings together mission-driven leaders, organizations, and investors to multiply impact and transform under-resourced communities.
Founded in 2001, Alliance for Greater Works (formerly Faith and Philanthropy Institute) helps to unite leaders and organizations from diverse communities and sectors, and enables them to collectively identify creative ways to achieve sustained, measurable results in under-resourced communities.
WHY WE EXIST:
Alliance for Greater Works is driven by a vision of a world without under-resourced communities. AGW (formerly FPI) seeks out partners and clients from nonprofits, private and public sectors, and the faith community that share this vision, and desire to create solutions that change lives and communities.
What we do:
Since 2001, we have increased the ability of over 7,500 mission-driven leaders and organizations to transform communities through training and strategic advice.
We help nonprofits and communities by:
• Building a new generation of leadership
• Developing and implementing actionable plans to grow impact and financial resources
• Communicating value to a diverse group of generous givers and funders
• Connecting organizations to other parts of the community
We help investors put their money where the impact is by:
• Developing, executing, and monitoring a strategy and plan
• Identifying organizations to partner with
• Assessing the impact of current or potential grantees
