About Gateway Institute for Brain Research
Feel better, live longer and conquer cancer TODAY!
99¢ of every dollar received directly funds cancer clinical trials.
The Gateway for Cancer Research is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that funds innovative cancer research. The Gateway is unique among cancer charites: 99 cents of every dollar received goes to cancer research.
Gateway has always honored the people at the heart of a clinical trial; people whose enrollment helps us find better treatments for all. For this reason, we believe quality of life factors to be as important as cancer response—we want patients to feel better, even as they undergo treatment. Our research vision is to support phase I and phase II clinical trials that effectively tailor cancer treatment to the unique biology, environment, and needs of each patient.
Since 1991, Gateway for Cancer Research has worked to create a world in which a cancer diagnosis is no longer feared. Founded by Richard J Stephenson as part of a personal quest to transform cancer by empowering patients with integrative therapies and innovative treatment options, Gateway’s model enables 99 cents of every donor dollar to support the next generation of potential breakthroughs in patient-centric cancer research. Our ultimate goal is to drive transformational advances in cancer research TODAY.
