About Texans Credit Union
Texans Credit Union aims to serve our members’ needs and help you reach your financial goals – from checking & savings accounts to auto & home loans, Texans will make “banking” an experience you look forward to!
Texans Credit Union was established in 1953 by 11 Texas Instruments employees as a state-chartered, not-for-profit financial institution that exists to serve our members. This is the primary difference between Texans Credit Union and “big banks” – any extra money we make is returned to our members in the form of lower loan rates and higher dividends, which means our members are owners of Texans Credit Union, too! So when you walk in your local Texans branch, you can feel confident that you will be treated like you own the place – because you do! Our membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in the Texas counties of Collin, Dallas, Grayson, Rockwall, Travis, or Williamson. It only takes $25 to open a savings account and become a member with Texans, but our members are priceless! Since Texans was started from a company in which technological advancement and progress are paramount, Texans Credit Union is in a constant state of growth within the financial industry. Through new products and services and more advanced technology and tools, Texans aspires, above all else, to serve its members more effectively every day. Branch Offices: Allen Branch 406 W.
