About Wilson Bank and Trust
Still Here Still Independent Still Committed to You Member FDIC Equal Housing Lender
In May, 1987, our Bank began in a small two-bedroom house adjacent to our current Main Office building. Many great things have happened to us due to our loyal customers. Our number one goal still remains the same; providing you personal professional hometown banking, while treating you as we would want to be treated ourselves. Our nineteen different offices are located so we can serve you and meet your banking needs. In April 1996, the holding company had its first out-of county expansion owning 50% of the newly organized de novo bank, DeKalb Community Bank in Smithville, Tennessee. Dekalb Community Bank has two offices. The main office in Smithville and a branch office in Alexandria. In December 1996 the Holding Company again helped with the organization and expansion into Smith County- Wilson Bank Holding Company also owns 50% of the Community Bank of Smith County. Many other factors have contributed to the Bank being where it is today, and we are thankful to God for each employee, director, community council member, stockholder and others that have made this possible. We continue to believe that our Bank has a strong responsibility to our community by being a leader and offering community minded events. Wilson Bank & Trust has a strong commitment to you to remain a local independent Bank. We believe the local Bank can better meet your needs.
