Assistant Teachers share responsibility for Head Start classrooms with children ages 3-5, working collaboratively with the co-teacher, families and other staff members to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.

Child Development Associate Certification, (CDA)

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field with at least nine (9) credits in Early Childhood Education
Successfully pass physical examination, background and fingerprinting screen
Able to lift a child up to 40 pounds, as needed
