Laboratory Service Assistant

A Laboratory Service Assistant position is available in your area. This assignment is a long term, contract role through Adecco Medical & Science for Millennium Health (our client, the laboratory based in San Diego). We are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills. This candidate will be responsible for collecting urine specimens and performing basic administration duties in a medical setting.

Job Title:
LSA – Laboratory Service Assistant

Location: Natchez, MS

Schedule:

Tues & Thu
8am - 5pm
16 hours per week
Long term contract

Compensation:

$12.00 per hour
Paid weekly (every Friday)

COLLECT: Collecting urine from patients
PROCESS: Label and enter corresponding patient and specimen I.D. into tracking system called Millennium Connect
PACKAGE: Preparing urine samples collected for shipment to the Millennium Health laboratory
COMPLIANCE: Staying within the boundaries of the contracted role while on-site at the local clinic

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass extensive background check that covers 10 years - includes DMV records
No more than (1) moving violation in the past three years
No violations of DUI/DWI or reckless driving in the past 5 years
