About The Job

This job is a member of the Maintenance Control Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and direction ensuring our Technical Operations maintenance organizations have clear priorities and support required to facilitate the return to service of out of service aircraft and or assigned workload.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:
  • Expedites the return of Out of Service (OTS) aircraft to service in a safe and efficient manner, using the following processes:
  • Working with Materials Management to expedite parts (AA, other airline, air taxi or surface transport)
  • Field trip support
  • Special permit flights
  • Functional check flights (FCF/HCF)
  • Repositioning flights
  • Ensures other Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC) workgroups have accurate information concerning the status of all OTS aircraft; using and maintaining the RGOM and RGOL computer runs for this purpose
  • Ensures maintenance actions that enhance fleet reliability
  • Initiates required actions to recover aircraft that have left paved surfaces or are otherwise immobilized


Required Qualifications
  • 10 years line maintenance or equivalent experience
  • FAA aircraft airframe and Engine Power Plant (A&P) certification
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions while maintaining high quality standards
  • Level-headed in a high paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high degree of detail orientation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintenance Control Technician experience
  • Maintenance Operations Control experience
  • Aircraft Maintenance Supervisory experience
