Graphic Designer

Design and execute brand marketing, including in-store signage, packaging, direct mail, advertising, branding and customer communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design graphic solutions, for in-store and in-home marketing materials
  • Design and create labels and packaging
  • Design gift packaging, shopping bags, gift boxes, gift wrap and gift cards
  • Research current design and graphics trends in fashion and marketing
  • Research current trends, social media and relevant culture including music, cinema and literature
  • Review and follow weekly production schedule, meeting all deadlines
  • Be conscious of the brand appearance and in-store presentation; maintain overall appearance, consistency and brand point of view
  • Spec and release sign kits and art for production
  • Proof and review print materials
  • Work closely with Production department to ensure packaging quality and meet deadlines
  • Work closely with Visual and Marketing Team to design floorset materials including: seasonal window graphics, in-store signage, display graphics, and promotional materials
  • Work closely with Marketing Team to design CRM and Advertising vehicles
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA or BFA degree in Graphic, Web, or Communication design required
  • Portfolio of representative work will be required
  • 2+ years experience in retail, design studio, agency or freelance ideal (Creative Agency, Retail experience a plus)
  • Production and print experience
  • Extremely Proficient in Mac applications: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
