Amgen’s manufacturing facility in West Greenwich, RI is looking for students with outstanding academic records and demonstrated leadership capabilities. An internship at Amgen is a hands-on learning experience under the guidance of an Operations Manager. Interns are matched to meaningful and challenging projects.
Participation as an intern has the potential to lead to an offer to join the Rotational Leadership Development Program or other entry-level full-time position upon college graduation in 2020, depending on available positions and an evaluation of your performance.
Quality – Learning & Performance
The intern would work to further the SOP redesign project that seeks to make procedures easier to use. The intern will provide word processing, document management and client support in the effort of simplifying and reorganizing client documents.
Details include seeking client documents to redesign, training on redesigning concepts, training on infomapping, word processing documents, working with the document management system to route documents through various stages, and project managing multiple document redesign projects.
