The Critical Care ICU Nurse Manager will have direct responsibility over the 20 bed Intensive Care Unit. The Critical Care ICU Nurse Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the critical care unit which include but are not limited to budgeting, developing quality improvement projects, as well as improving overall patient care. Reporting directly to the Director of Critical Care, the ICU Nurse Manager will manage a team of nursing supervisors and work collaboratively with other leaders to provide the best quality of patient care to the surrounding community.
The Critical Care ICU Nurse Manager will uphold the mission statement and values of the organization to the highest extent as well as provide leadership and support to the other professionals working within the critical care unit. The Critical Care ICU Nurse Manager will coordinate with nurse supervisors to develop quality outcomes and goals to ensure the success of the department as a whole.
