The Director of Ambulatory Care Clinic Operations will join a Medical Center that is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization providing quality medical care, health education and research activities in the community. The medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, weight management.
The Director of Medical Group Operations will have primary responsibility for developing and opening new medical practice sites, establishing high performing practice operations, back-end support and managing the ongoing operations. The Director of Primary Clinic Operations will work effectively with organizational support services, including medical leadership, organizational partners, and contract for services through the Medical Group.
The Director of Ambulatory Clinic Operations will be responsible in driving change management and performance improvement initiatives in order to increase quality, outcomes, effectiveness, and efficiency. The Director of Medical Group Operations will be leading Lean Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives, train and embrace and utilize lean methodologies as the primary change management tool for the service line.
The Director of Primary Care Operations should have advanced knowledge of leveraging systems in order to drive relevant improvement and change initiatives, including experience with mergers and acquisition. The Director of Medical Group Operations should have proven ability to coordinate multiple and diverse points of view to facilitate a successful and positive outcome with demonstrated understanding of the transition between strategic development and operational implementation.
The ideal candidate for the Director of Ambulatory Clinic Operations should have Master's degree in business or health care administration with 7 years of progressively responsible medical group operations management and customer service experience. The Director of Medical Group Operations will need strong knowledge and experience in understanding operational impact on finances, costs, and efficiency with ability to communicate effectively including persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting and advising, presentation skills.
