The Registered Med/Surg Nurse RN will join a small 30+bed, acute care community hospital in New Hampshire that services as a healthcare hub for a rural population. The facility features an emergency room that treats 9,000+ patients per year and also offers a variety of health services including inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical therapy and laboratory services. The health care system is also regarded as a top community hospital in New England.
Under the direction of the Manager of Medical/Surgical Services, the Registered Med/Surg Nurse RN will provide treatment to patients of all ages alongside physicians, monitoring patient care and recovery and administering prescribed medications. The Registered Med/Surg Nurse RN will assist in the examination process prepare necessary equipment on behalf of physicians. The Registered Med/Surg Nurse RN will communicate treatment and medication with both patients and their families and play a key role in the quality outcomes of the organization.
