Your Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager:

  • Identifying client business needs and connecting the Apex offerings that can satisfy them.
  • Identifying and generating leads and specific sales opportunities through prospecting with strategic customers in target markets.
  • Maintaining positive and productive working relationships with existing clients to enhance client retention and generate new sales.
  • Collaborating with Apex Program Managers and Operations staff to develop winning offers and close sales.
  • Developing and maintaining a healthy and diverse sales pipeline to facilitate long-term sustainable growth.

Minimum Requirements

What we're looking for:

  • BA/BS in Business/Marketing/Environmental Science or other related field
  • 8 to 10 years of experience selling environmental consulting and engineering related services to commercial and municipal clients in region and surrounding region is required
  • Experience with account management, CRM, new business development, project management, strategic marketing, and technical sales
