Technician

Location:

Orlando, FL

Shift:

Monday – Friday, day shift with potential holidays and weekends required

Core Responsibilities:

  • Job requires excellent customer service interaction and empathy skills.
  • Experienced in supporting executive conference rooms Virtually and Physically
  • Knowledge of “Video / Audio Collaboration software” applications or similar conference room infrastructure skill sets.
    • Setup and supprt of backend infrastructure skills necessary.
    • Able t interact with intercompany teams to
    • Add device to network upon installation
    • Network authentication and Static IP reservation skills, etc.
  • Initial device configuration and setup in conjunction with vendor
  • Ability to provide maintenance for approved Video Collaboration rooms
    • Sftware updates
    • Hardware Firmware updates
    • Prviding regular video collaboration room equipment inspections
  • Expected to be single point of contact support for Orlando campus


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 -3 years knowledge and experience supporting audio video equipment conferencing systems
  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience with Lifesize Systems
  • Coordinate with primary vendor regarding maintenance scheduling (as contracted)
  • Escalation of incident to appropriate service provider (e.g. equipment, network)
  • Reporting and tracking of equipment and vendor service failures via Failures/Tickets in the Video / Audio Collaboration Portal
