Content Programmer

Overview:

• A part of the company Media/Editorial organization, the company studios is the premiere digital production team based entirely within the company.
• We are a team of 100+ creative developers, producers, Talent, post-producers, graphics designers, programmers and we produce dozens of video content (Signature Programming including Live, Quick Hits, Social), every day for our company News, Finance, Sports, Entertainment and company Style & Beauty digital properties.
• The company studios produces content for the North American audience, in the field and out of 3 studio spaces in Sunnyvale, Los Angeles (Playa Vista), and New York City

Requirements:

• The video programming team acts as the hub of video at the company, managing daily distribution efforts and best practices, for all of the company editorial teams.
• We work to grow streams and deliver the best video experiences to our users.
• We work horizontally in a vertical structure, collaborating with product teams, business development teams, editorial teams and marketing teams.
• This role is for company video, and will encompass all things that play and stream on the company network of sites.

Required: Experience with Wordpress & Proficiency in Web Content and Management Experience working with HTML & Java Interest and knowledge of Sports and Pop Culture Exhibits good judgment, can work independently and has excellent communications skills Able to make sound judgments regarding news stories Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus
