We are seeking a Project Manager II for a very important client

Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines. Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle. Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, and assure project success. Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines. Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion. Provide tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users.

Project Manager Process Specialization

This Project Manager role will create both simple and complex production schedules in collaboration with the Division Vice President and Senior Directors. They need to be extremely comfortable being client facing as they will be interfacing with Sr. leadership and will have to bring production efforts and information into harmonious cooperation. They will assemble needed assets, manage schedules and timelines for deliverables and reviews. All work flow process will be overseen by the project manager to bring projects to successful and profitable completion. The ideal candidate for this position should have strong Excel skills and Six Sigma Certification.

Project ManagerJob Duties:
  • Supervise and coordinate production staff for multi-deadline projects
  • Regulate project hours versus budget and offer options for adjustments as needed.
  • Establish QA parameters with testing team members to serve project deliverables and SOW.
  • Confirm regulatory requirements and parameters with client regulatory team members to serve project deliverables, schedule and SOW.
  • Resolve priority conflicts in harmony with the project estimate and agreed SOW.
  • Maintain production schedules
  • Basic meeting management
  • Coordinate production staff efforts
  • Maintain project budgets and help initiate change order process when necessary
  • Balance production team demands and deadlines
  • Organize and maintain project assets per client approved processes and industry best practices
  • Create and maintain project documents and protocols
  • Coordinate with client account managers and end clients to establish and meet expectations
  • Review project deliverables to make sure they match Scope of Work.
  • Transition projects from strategy to production.
  • Assist team as needed with their invoice preparation information
  • Facilitate communication with project end clients
  • Perform administrative duties for the project as needed.
  • Coordinate with Creative Managers, Traffic and other Project Managers on the deployment of staff and equipment resources within the project.
  • Perform research for the project as needed.
  • Coordinate with QA and regulatory resources throughout project as needed to ensure QA and regulatory plans are followed.
  • Coordinate project organization for back ups
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Able to compose and present various solutions and options taking into account a variety of perspectives.
  • Able to take clear notes, self-manage and follow through on complex projects
  • Strong maturity level
  • Be comfortable asking for help and identifying and preparing items ripe for delegation.
Qualifications: 5+ years of related professional experience and a college degree or 7+ years of related professional experience. Strong process and management background, familiarity or working knowledge of the Six Sigma Principles is a plus. Experience and/or degree in design, communications, technical production, or marketing strongly preferred. Additional prior experience in sales or customer service a plus. 7+ years experience
