The production manager is responsible for the following:

  • Organize, correct, coordinate and supervise all installation activities to ensure products are installed with maximum quality while meeting or exceeding time standards and customer satisfaction,
  • Hire, develop and train work crews in safety and installation/application.,
  • Complete periodic individual and crew performance evaluations
  • Responsible for approving weekly payroll and labor time sheets
  • Visit job sites as needed to review work in progress, making sure work schedule is appropriate
  • Guide and direct Window Scheduling Coordinator to ensure correct scheduling timelines are forecast
  • Ensure final measure paperwork is accurate and that daily reports are completed accurately and on time
  • Assist in contract resolution with sales when an incorrect application or product is sold
  • Responsible for accuracy of window product lead times, ensuring all required materials are ordered and available for scheduled job
  • Assist in resolution of customer service issues by working with Service Dept. to ensure customer and company satisfaction
  • Knowledge of Comfort price book with ability to calculate par and retail from cost, prepare job cost data and estimates as directed by management
  • Organize and manage return product system to ensure return receipts are sent to Accounting for proper credit
  • Review and forward vehicle and equipment maintenance requests to appropriate dept and all other duties as assigned.

Job Description Includes:

  • Organize, direct, coordinate and supervise installation activities to ensure products are installed with maximum quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain technical ability to direct the installation of products, materials and tools.
  • Assist in resolving customer installation concerns and questions.
  • Assist in the development and training of the production employees in safety, application and efficiency.
  • Assist management as directed
  • Understand and Comply with the following policies: Urgent memos Policy, Job Sign Policy, Safe and Courteous Driving Policy and GPS/Cell Phone Policy.

Final Measure:

  • Ensure completion of the daily measure schedule safely and accurately.
  • Ensure all measurements are accurate and error free to minimize mis -measure.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely at all times.
  • Be proficient in understanding the Comfort Windows price book.
  • Identify and record labor and material necessary to perform the scope of work defined in the purchase agreement.
  • Ensure written work order exists for all installations or applications.
  • Assist in product installation when necessary.

This job operates in the field, customer residence and in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to various construction tools: Saws, grinders, cutters.etc. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of weather conditions on the job site.
