The F&B Banquet Management Intern will experience hands-on training in a supervisory role for banquet operations within the various locations on property. Responsible for gaining knowledge and working in the capacity of supervision of the daily operations of restaurant and food and beverage outlets in accordance with estate standards. Upon completion of training and with guidance, candidates will perform daily opening and closing responsibilities as a Banquet Supervisor, supervise banquet events, and work closely with guests. Candidate will rotate through various duties in each of our F&B outlets as scheduled to gain optimum training opportunities. ($11.22 - $11.50 hourly)

Requirements

All externship candidates must be applying for externship training as required for school credit or experience in a related field of study. Rate of pay for externships depends on undergraduate or senior class status. Externships are accepted in 3 months or longer periods. Job Requirements:

  • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Able to stand, twist, bend, push, pull, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis for periods of up to 10 hours a day.
  • Able to work effectively in a kitchen environment with occasional extremes in temperature (heat, cold, humidity) for an extended period of time.

Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate of a college or university and in the Hospitality & Tourism or related field.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work minimum of 40 hours per week with flexibility on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Energetic and quick to learn.
  • Professional appearance and dress (dress code is mandatory)
