We are in the process of setting up a centralized data warehouse/ Business intelligence platform, one of the focus subject areas for reporting being finance. We are looking for a candidate to be the data and reporting expert for the finance domain.
The Business Intelligence – Finance Business Systems Analyst is responsible for leading the effort to understand the business needs and identify how best to meet those needs. This includes working with the business and the technology areas to gather requirements for development and management. The role leads the effort to analyze, validate and document the business and system requirements for the Sales department needs.
The Business Intelligence – Finance Business Systems Analyst is a key facilitator within the IT organization, acting as a bridge between the business and the IT groups, and is accountable for a technology solution that supports the business request or opportunity and is based on the enterprise architecture. This role partners with the Architect to ensure the accuracy of business cases and that the solution will meet the business need.

Business Intelligence – Finance Business Systems Analyst
An ideal candidate will be a person that has
- Has worked in IT to help Corporate Finance & Treasury reporting or application development
- Understands the data in Finance applications and how the business uses the data
- Worked with mastering Finance data
- Understands Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Organizational Structure
- Has worked with Hyperion, JDE, Oracle, DRM, Tableau reporting
- Understands the processes and sub-process in the area of Finance
- Worked in Finance of a large company preferably in Service Industry

BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Has substantial IT experience (7+ years)
- Has minimally 3 years of experience in business systems analysis related to finance applications such as JDE, Hyperion, etc.
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience with reporting and data analysis.
- Project management is desirable.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and is fully experienced at dealing with clients/users.
- Has a good understanding concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems.
- Possesses a broad understanding of business and business Skills, and understands the significance of commercial constraints.
- Has gained substantial business experience, including some management or professional responsibility, and has received training in business analysis methods and techniques.
- Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
- Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings.
