Accounting Assistant III - Athletic Business Support

Under minimal supervision, functions as the day to day business liaison for Creighton University Athletics within the university and with external vendors.
High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates preferred
0-2 years related finance/accounting/business experience, 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to understand and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and other requests for payment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of purchase orders and related accounts payable documentation
Knowledge of standard A/P policies, procedures, and regulations with understanding to review vendor payments and reimbursements to people for compliance with University policies, governmental, and regulatory laws.
Ability to analyze and enter invoice data for payments into Banner and CU Buy Plus systems
Ability to answer questions and resolve problems regarding payments of invoices and reimbursements to people.
Basic knowledge of computers, menu driven software and Windows along with computer data entry processes
Basic data entry and/or word processing skills
Basic 10 key knowledge
