  • Fall Intern Orientation
  • Career and Leadership Competency Development Plan
  • Peer and Leadership Mentoring and Coaching
  • Lunch-and-Learn Intern Series


Internship opportunities are available at our global headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y., an iconic, 12-story glass-walled building in the vibrant hub of the new and historic Buffalo. The headquarters integrates the latest advances in environmental energy conservation and office design and features cutting-edge technology.

  • Fall internship dates generally span: September 16th – December 6th, 2019*
  • Hours: _20-40__ hours per week
  • Pay: $12 per/hour for undergraduate students

$17 per/hour for graduate students

  • Must be a current student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Duration of the fall internship is between 10 to 14 weeks.


The Opportunity

Learning Objectives & Goals:

Develop analytical skills through on the job experience

Gain technical knowledge in financial systems

Develop communication skills by working daily with the finance team

Learn the Sportservice/Hospitality industry


Responsibilities/Scope:

Prepare and analyze daily and weekly reporting for senior management

Assist with the monthly forecast process and preparation for the plan process

Perform financial and operational analysis as needed

Work with Sportservice finance team and senior leadership on any ad hoc requests

Skill/Competence Development:

Develop analytical skills through on the job experience

Gain technical knowledge in financial systems

Develop communication skills by working daily with the finance team

Learn the Sportservice/Hospitality industry

Requirements:

Pursuing a Degree: Master’s

Area of Study(s): MBA, Finance

Software/Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel

Other Skills or Experience: Attention to details, ability to work with large sets of data, knowledge of VBA (preferred but not necessary)
