Dunham Trust Company (DTC) offers a wide range of traditional trust services designed to meet virtually any client need, from custodial accounts and safekeeping of assets, to family trusts, wealth management and investment options. Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, Dunham Trust Company was chartered in 1999. The firm also has executive offices in Loveland, Colorado.

The Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational leadership and support to Dunham Trust Company at our headquarters in Reno, Nevada.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage Operations staff and workflow;
  • Ensure critical filing, licensing, and audit deadlines are met;
  • Accept responsibility for ensuring accurate fee calculations and collections;
  • Take ownership of internal audits and quarterly custody audits;
  • Perform, oversee, and book all asset transfers for DTC;
  • Oversee pre-need platform/processing;
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement new procedures;
  • Collaborate with external CPAs for facilitation and preparation of client tax returns and ensure timely filing;
  • Perform cash balancing, process sweeps, perform reconciliations, distributions, and daily settlements as needed;
  • Review newly opened and account closing documentation and audit for accuracy;
  • Assist operations team and administrative staff with other projects as needed;

Requirements:

  • A.A. or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 5-7 years of trust operations experience;
  • Prior supervisorial and/or staff management experience strongly preferred:
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently;
  • Excellent organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and due dates;
  • Aptitude to learn new systems; ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service skills;
  • Ability to think and work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent Excel and other MS Office skills;
  • Accurate data entry skills.
