E.A. Quinn Landscape Contracting Inc., a premiere landscape contracting firm specializing in landscape design
and construction located in Glastonbury, CT, is seeking to fill a Project Manager position.
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and installation of all hardscape projects for both
residential and commercial customers.
The appropriate candidate for the position will possess the required skills to plan and manage multiple
projects simultaneously, manage staff, procure material and maintain an awareness of costs (labor &
material) throughout installation process. In addition to maintaining effective communication with
customers throughout the installation phase.
Required skills and experience:
Experience in a hardscape installation project management role
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
Experience with grades and topography and how they impact installations
Knowledge and experience in the use of a transit (laser level)
Knowledge of construction terminology and applicable construction materials
Experience with various construction equipment (i.e. excavators, loaders, etc.)
Orchestration of change order process with effective communication to the customer
Possess strong organizational and managerial skills
Effective communication skills
A customer service-oriented perspective and demeanor
Demonstrated attention to detail
Knowledge of computer software programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
Candidate must have the ability to represent themselves and the company in a professional manner
Have the ability and desire to work in a team environment
Have the drive and understanding of the type of work ethic required to succeed
CDL license a plus
