Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, this position will write and assist in developing strategy for a variety of communications designed to engage, align, inform and inspire a diverse audience, including employees and external stakeholders.
This role will act as lead writer in communications of company news and feature stories, employee recognition, executive communications, company activities and external events that align with our organization’s purpose, business strategy, culture and key initiatives.
Must be passionate about the employee experience and how internal communications is an integral part of the overall strategy grow and sustain positive engagement, morale, productivity and satisfaction.
While this position is focused mostly on internal communications, she or he will work collaboratively as part of the Marketing Communications team on external initiatives. Must also work in conjunction with Human Resources, Information Technology, Development and other functional areas, including our Service Lines providing supports for thousands of individuals with disabilities and their families.
