GIANT FOOD IS NOW HIRING ASSISTANT FRONT END MANAGERS
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:The primary function of this position is to assist the Front End Manager with direction of the front end check-out and customer service operations, maintain the front end sales area, and most importantly………ensure excellent customer service levels at all times.
FOR OUR STORES IN GLEN BURNIE, MD!!!
Check work schedule, perform daily inspection of department and aisles, obtain supplies and prepare for operations.
Notify cash office and obtain and set-up cash draws and register for cashiers as required.
Assign cashiers to register positions and actively monitor the front end operations and crew to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Align or re-stack items and ready for products for sale on the appropriate front end aisles, racks and displays.
- Open cases of products, remove contents, stock shelves racks, displays and end caps according to a predetermined line up.
Enter product information into the computer, record salvage and shrink info into inventory system, order products, enter items into inventory with bar code scanner and / or computer and enter notes in log for next shift.
- Greet and assist shoppers whenever needed and according to company policy.
Assist Cashiers and Customer Service and monitor Parcel-Pick-up personnel as needed.
- At the end of the shift cash out the registers and return cash draws to the cash office, secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
