About the job

The Carrier team focuses on Google-branded hardware across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top carriers, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with marketing, product & engineering, finance and retail marketing teams internally, and with our carrier counterparts across these disciplines.

As a Store Operations Manager, you will drive the sellout of our consumer hardware products through our carrier partners in US. You will support our end customers, who engage with Google’s products and/or carrier sales reps in the stores of our partners and ensure they have opportunity to experience the magic of the Google’s ecosystem, including hardware, software, and services. You will design and lead programs to drive sellout through enhancing sales rep knowledge, advocacy, and execution in stores.

You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Product to implement distinctive Store programs and work with global programs team to help them scalable globally. You will establish and lead relationships with our carrier partner leadership teams to collaborate on key initiatives and identify new opportunities for growth. Ultimately, you will help build a portfolio that consistently meets standards for field sellout, merchandising training and field sales, and other key performance metrics that drive business growth, an enhanced customer experience as well deep customer loyalty of the Google hardware portfolio.

The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as Pixel, Daydream View, Google Wifi, Chromecast Ultra and Google Home.


  • Manage third-party vendor resources to deliver upon goals and agreement terms.
  • Develop key relationships and consult US retailer and carrier partners.
  • Manage day-to-day Operations for Google’s retail presence.
  • Ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of all customer programs and new products and services.
  • Distill insights and pursue improvements based on analysis of key performance metrics.
