Our Annuity Operations division is looking for an Associate Customer Service Manager to join the team. Prior supervisory/management experience is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees employees responsible for financial functions of the customer service team.
  • Ensures employees have access to, are trained on and are using the most current regulations, department guidelines, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identifies operational and / or potential systemic problems; identifies root causes and ensures that solutions are implemented promptly.
  • Requests or generates and analyzes management reports to track and assess unit performance, process flow, customer satisfaction and other metrics.
  • Manages internal controls to ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality of work. Identifies and implements methods to improve processes and procedures.
  • Participates in planning and ensures that the team meets budget and performance targets.
  • Responsible for the performance, development and coaching of staff (i.e. hiring, firing, performance management, pay increases, etc.). Provides training for new members of the team / unit.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of related experience, including prior management/supervisory experience
  • Experience in financial services
  • Prior call center experience
  • FINRA Series 6 license strongly preferred
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
