Manufacturing Engineer Intern

We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team in Goleta, CA. The selected individual will be responsible for shop floor processes and developing assembly procedures for complex, high reliability, electromechanical assemblies.

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern provides an opportunity for engineering students who are currently pursuing a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering to get hands-on experience working with engineers in a cutting edge communications hardware engineering environment. Interns will be called upon to support a variety of activities in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating and maintaining Manufacturing Assembly Procedures (MAPs)
• Support production activities and issues on a daily basis
• Assist in the development of manufacturing processes and procedures for Production
• Responsible for the timely completion of tasks assigned by the Manufacturing Engineering Department
• Create and update mechanical assembly drawings
