Manager, Ohana by Hawaiian - Commercial and Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Support director to oversee key vendor and contracts (e.g. CPA, Lease, Ground Handling, GMA, MRO etc.)
  • Develop and maintain accurate reporting, including financial forecasts, operational statistics and customer service metrics
  • Manage ‘Ohana by Hawaiian monthly spend, accrual and budgeting process
  • Manage ‘Ohana by Hawaiian invoice administration
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop business cases and provide ad-hoc analytical support to support growth initiatives
  • Support Commercial team and make recommendations for improvement
  • Liaise with HA Scheduling regarding ‘Ohana by Hawaiian schedule changes
  • Manage ‘Ohana by Hawaiian charter sales and execution
  • Work with ‘Ohana by Hawaiian team members and operating partners (e.g. Flight Operations, Maintenance and Ground Handling) to identify and conduct analysis to support process changes that will drive efficiency and customer experience improvements
  • Implement, drive and manage ‘Ohana by Hawaiian projects as assigned
  • Assist Community Relations and Sales & Marketing team members with community and corporate relations activities that support the ‘Ohana by Hawaiian service

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to effectively liaise with and influence internal and external employees, vendors and other stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong financial skills – budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, business case analysis
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Able to travel when required, and be on call and available to support irregular operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Airline industry experience
  • Aircraft maintenance knowledge or experience
  • Process improvement experience
  • Contract negotiation and vendor management experience
  • Advanced degree in relevant discipline
