General Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Integration Factory manager will be responsible for leading the business and technical requirements gathering for Integration Factory within the Customer to Cash IT transformation. The role will partner with C2C project teams, vendors and Hertz business teams and will be an integral part of managing the Integration Factory. The Integration Factory Manager will hire and manage a contract staff and be expected to work in a highly matrixed and outsourced environment.

Key Result Areas

  • Assess and plan for the Integration Requirements team’s future needs. Prepare governing principles and standards to guide future decision making pertinent to Integration requirements.
  • Determine appropriate operational controls, tools and processes that supplement and enhance the organizations integration requirements practice.
  • Continually create process and delivery improvements to reduce interface requirements cycle time across the transformation
  • Manage the integration analysis with business SMEs to create specific detailed requirements for integration development
  • Understands the overall requirements and solution design across multiple project work streams including the end to end view of system changes
  • Analyze data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy and consistency and implement resolution
  • Develop and enforce methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring integration quality and accuracy at the point of entry.
  • Coordinate project tasks with the vendors, business leads, stakeholders and business SME’s.
  • Process and requirements leadership, setting best practices for integration, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement in an mostly Agile environment
  • Work closely with IT project teams to prevent and resolve integration issues by ensuring integration processes are seamless, straightforward, and properly executed.
  • Understand system dependencies and integration points via APIs.
  • Collaborate with Operations Leaders, Transformation Program Directors, and Vendors, to problem solve, and exchange information to maintain effective internal communication.
  • Develop and report key performance metrics for data quality processes, and staff utilization.
  • Other duties as assigned


Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or other related field.

Professional Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical support position or equivalent work experience.
  • Has experience in analyzing and interpreting operational data to identify and act on root causes of suboptimal performance
  • 1+ years of experience managing a large team
  • Proven experience with requirements gathering and creating technical specifications
  • Understands web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with web/database application technologies like SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5 and CSS is preferred
  • Experience in Agile methodology/Scrum is preferred


  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team, assign work, track progress and manage conflict
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current tools and techniques of business analysis, demonstrated knowledge and use of key knowledge areas
  • Business Process Modelling Tools (Visio or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to work constructively while under pressure
  • Must be resilient, adaptable and flexible under all work conditions
  • Understanding of ETL Life Cycle Development
