Hospitality/service of food and beverages to guests; entertainment; public relations and marketing activities at store locations and promotional sites. The position is a front of the house position integral to the Hooters Concept. The concept is that of upbeat, outgoing and energetic persons that embody the fun atmosphere of Hooters. All persons in this position must have the ability to personify the outgoing, carefree and helpful attitude that Hooters expects from our customer contact personnel. Interacts with customers and sell food, beverages, and merchandise items to the public.
Pursuant to Department of Labor parameters, this is a non-exempt position.
Training is provided by management staff and store trainers.
Compensation is hourly plus tips via compliance with state-mandated minimum wage laws for service personnel. Employee is paid either every Friday or every other Friday, depending on the governing state wage and hour laws. The position pays time and one-half for all labor performed beyond 40 hours per week.

Interaction and public relations with guests; greeting and seating guests; suggestive selling of menu and merchandise items; execution of food, beverage, and merchandise orders; participation in company promotions; compliance with company policies and procedures

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-Must have the equivalent of a High School diploma.
-Must attend the new employee orientation and agree to the company’s policies and procedures.
-Must have ability to understand and execute Hooters Management Corporation systems.
-Must have ability to understand and execute Hooters Management Corporation Human Resource and Training systems.
-Must have unexpired state and company-mandated food and alcohol service certifications

Employees who have interactions with patrons must have excellent customer service skills, through use of good language and communication skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. May occasionally work in outside weather conditions that are humid or cold. May be exposed to fumes from equipment, chemicals or airborne particles. Temperature variances can occur while working at outside Hooters promotions and working near grills and fryers. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
