We are seeking someone who is highly driven, possessing a "can do" attitude that can operate at a high level. The perfect candidate must be a strong, self-starting, organized, dedicated, flexible, energetic individual with a high level of integrity. Key Criteria: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office…Excel is a MUST!!

Applicants must possess the following: College Degree

  • Software; Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks
  • At least 2 years' experience in the areas of responsibilities including transactions processing and bookkeeping responsibilities
  • Good accounting knowledge and experience sufficient to independently generate financial statements
  • High degree of accuracy ; attention to detail.
  • Knowledge should include ability to use reporting capabilities of the system and maintain the chart of accounts

  • Responsibilities Balance and maintain accurate ledgers * Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management * Monitor office expenses and enter cash receipts * Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances * Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets * Assist in preparing quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes

Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field * Minimum three years' experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports. Smaller company experience preferred; commercial real estate background is a plus. * Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) * Extensive experience with data entry and recordkeeping * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and accounting software (MRI experience is a plus) * Experience in services related to payroll such as writing checks and submitting payroll taxes * Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Highly organized, self-starter with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
