Cloud Marketing Manager - Microsoft Dynamics

The Cloud Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing strategy and execution of all Microsoft Dynamics dedicated marketing activities. At its core, you will own the relationship with Microsoft Dynamics and the Ingram Micro Cloud team and serve as the sole point of contact for all marketing related planning and execution needs. From an account management perspective, this role must understand the vendor/Ingram Micro business direction and sales strategy to develop objective-based, integrated marketing plans on a quarterly, half, and annual basis that deliver results. The Integrated Marketing plans must accomplish mutual vendor and Ingram Micro goals and may include elements such as: demand gen, training and enablement programs, digital marketing, reseller promotions, sales incentives, events and more. A strategic thinker that enjoys both the big picture as well as “in the weeds” details/execution would experience high levels of success and fulfillment in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing marketing strategies/associated programs that meet desired goals & objectives related to the vendor and Ingram Micro cloud business plan.
  • Drive vendor and Ingram key initiatives.
  • Understand market, competitive landscape, products, business direction, partners, and sales strategy.
  • Develop and execute a strategic integrated marketing plan.
  • Creating programs that meet objectives related to lead generation, partner recruitment and revenue goals.
  • Strategic lead on marketing initiatives including partner and sales training, sales engagement, digital demand gen, event strategy, partner promotions, and more.
  • The account owner and the main point of contact for all a specific vendor marketing needs within Ingram Micro, and Ingram Micro needs within vendor marketing.
  • Drive and/or participate in the positioning and messaging that clearly articulate the value proposition associated with all marketing initiatives.
  • Create and manage a marketing budget and forecast with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Frequently interacts with peers, IM Product Marketing and vendor to understand Cloud category opportunities and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement customer segment specific marketing strategies/plans/programs.
  • Represent marketing in business meetings to include IM senior leadership.
  • Report, understand, present KPIs and ROI to determine course correction recommendations.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant additional experience in the related field.
  • 5 + years of marketing experience, B2B preferred.
  • 2+ years minimum of marketing cloud solutions or software a plus.
  • Business and marketing plan creation and execution.
  • Knowledge of Vendor products, cloud computing and channel partner marketing experience preferred.
  • Marketing campaign experience including e-marketing, new customer acquisition, partner program development, events and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Ability to implement recommendations and see projects through to completion.
  • Ability to understand, create and manipulate financial data and budgeting spreadsheets.
  • Attention to details, time management skills, organizational skills, ability to travel (up to 25% of time)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with executive level associates internally and externally in an articulate and professional manner.
  • Ability to practice discretion and understand the appropriateness of communication and behavior within high visibility accounts
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-function, high-pressure environment
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft is a plus
  • Knowledge of technology productivity tools and expertise in working with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
