Material Handling Exchange (MHE) has provided our customers with great quality new and used material handling products since 1989. Headquartered in Indianapolis, our 350,000 square foot warehouse facility is centrally located, which allows for quick destinations not to mention another 300,000 sf throughout the nation full of new & used material handling equipment!

We are looking for... A strong candidate to help track down leads and contribute to product acquisition. Strong customer service skills are a must and some cold-calling will be necessary. This is an entry-level position in our Acquisitions department. As skills are learned and demand increases, there is room for advancement as well as commission incentives. Tasks

  • Talking with prospective customers and sellers
  • Learning the material and product ranges.
  • Navigate a CRM software with thousands of potential sales and contacts
  • Inspect potential sites and material

Consists of about 10% Travel - mostly day trips Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Proficient in basic Excel, Word; Project knowledge is encouraged
  • Good basic math skills
  • Minimum of 45 words-per-minute
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Self-starter with time-management skills a must
  • Excellent phone skills; Strong communication skills
  • A positive/friendly attitude


  • Must have High School Diploma with 2-3 years related work history or an Associates/Bachelor’s Degree
  • Reliable transportation AND a valid driver's license
  • Punctuality is imperative

Monday thru Friday 8am – 5:00pm, Overtime as needed Salary: $30,000 - $50,000 or more Annually Base determined by experience and skill, plus commission on profitability of material acquired.
