The Lead position for the receiving team will be in charge of managing the work flow on the warehouse floor. This includes making sure freight companies are dropping off the correct freight, making sure the receiving team is working efficiently based on the amount of work in a certain area, solving simple problems the team may run into, being able to do all of the tasks of the receiving team when the team is shorthanded, and making sure the team is staying on task. The Lead will also be asked to collaborate with the supervisor on implementing/changing processes used in the department to increase productivity, train new hires and coach team members, and be able to run the department in the absence of the supervisor.
The receiving team consists of 8-10 members. Forklift, computer, and warehouse operations experience are a must for this role.McKesson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
