Within a patient centered culture, the Medical Assistant (MA) will assist provider and nursing staff deliver optimal patient care, and work with others to achieve efficient clinical and business operations. The MA performs both clinical and administrative tasks.
Education Requirements: A graduate of a medical assisting program. Associate’s degree in medical assisting and/or certification preferred.
Experience Requirements: None required, but outpatient clinic experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure Requirements: Basic Life support (BLS) certification within probationary period.
Physical Requirements: Heavy Work- Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.
