The Program Coordinator I will provide assistance and support to the Project Investigators and work collaboratively with Research Assistants and the research team with tasks related to the implementation and maintenance of the study, both in the office and out in the field.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain partnerships with management
  • Efficiently communicate with partners and local teams
  • Schedule/ coordinate recruitment, home visits and environmental testing
  • Prepare all necessary forms and equipment
  • Participant enrollment and follow-up
  • Mailing of study fliers, brochures and participant correspondence
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet enrollment targets
  • Assent/consent participants
  • Maintain ongoing communication with participants
  • Schedule follow-up visits according to the study’s timeline
  • Visit identified eligible building units to recruit perspective participants
  • Use appropriate screening tools to determine participant eligibility
  • Collect contact information for scheduling and follow-up
  • Administer study health questionnaires at time of home visit
  • Assist with visual assessment of unit and environmental sampling
  • Adhere to data collection protocols
  • Follow data transfer flowchart
  • Consolidate databases periodically
  • Update study databases as needed
  • Proper assignment of study IDs
  • Create and update master location lists
  • Securely store completed data collection tools
  • Share data following appropriate encryption procedures
  • Attend weekly team meetings & providing study updates
  • Create monthly reports to study funders
  • Maintaining up-to-date study files and forms
  • IRB submissions
  • Assist in renewals and final report
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experiences are closely related to the duties of the job
  • No experience required, 1-2 years administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks,
projects and assignments
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
