Part-time position (20-24 hours per week). Works various days Sunday through Saturday and various times with hours between 6:30 am and 11:00 pm. Maintains and updates computer scheduling files. Must be congenial and polite at all times in person and over the phone. Must be familiar with policies regarding scheduling of ancillary tests and appointments, maintaining current patient information and records, and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and dealing with the general public. Schedules appointments for patients in centralized scheduling office and over the phone. General office experience preferred, but not required. Must have a thorough knowledge of the switchboard and filing system, all clinic policies and procedures to clinic office, and hospital scheduling protocol. High school diploma or equivalent required. Secretarial training would be an asset, but not required.
