Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

We are a commercial construction company looking for a full time, responsible and reliable receptionist to join our team for a busy upcoming construction season. Applicants must be comfortable with phones, organized, eager and have experience with Microsoft Excel/Word. Previous experience in construction a plus, but not required.

The position entails direct communication with the owner on a daily basis organizing construction related documents.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Answer phones, transfer calls, check voicemails, and deliver messages
-Screen, and announce office visitors including guests, walk-in clients, and deliveries
-Manage incoming/outgoing mail, including FedEx, organizing and distributing as needed
-Responsible for answering, screening, and routing calls on a multi-line phone system
-Greets, assists, and announces visitors
-Opens and closes the office according to standard office hours
-Provide administrative support to President and Project Managers
-Typing proposals and letters
-Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Project, Word
-Book flights, hotels, car rental
