THRO, a division of NBG-Home is a leader in home decor design, manufacturing and marketing is currently seeking a creative and technically proficient Sales Intern to join our in-house team in Islip, NY.

Position Overview:

You will gain the experience of working for one of the top Home Décor companies in the world. You will also learn how to work with some of the largest retailers in the world as well as gain knowledge of the internal systems and procedures required to do business with them.


  • In progress or completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, Management, Fashion Home Merchandising or other related fields required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and power point skills required. Adobe and Photoshop a plus.
  • Knowledge or sales experience in soft home product a plus.

Job Description:

  • Position reports to sales managers. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, someone who is highly organized and able to multi task. Fast paced environment and a team player.
  • Prepare and organize buyer samples, shipping labels and sample books.
  • Preparing showroom for buyer appointments. Making sure all samples are there for buyer review.

  • Must have skill to adapt and assist different areas within the company.
