Job Description

The Front Desk Medical Receptionist works closely with a team of others in Occupational Health, including medical assistants, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant. The Medical Receptionist is responsible to deliver the highest of customer service standards for those employees and employers presenting for or contracting with services at Occucare International.

The ideal candidate for this position is bilingual, fluent in English/Spanish, computer savvy, detail-oriented, follows through on duties and assignments, and is a self starter who understands and provides exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

As the first and last point of contact to our patients, you will ensure patients feel comfortable during their visit, multitasking between greeting patients and managing a variety of administrative duties.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service in a medical office environment.
  • Demonstrated Intermediate knowledge of PCs, word processing, and data entry.
  • Familiar with clerical duties such as faxing, printing, and emailing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • ******Fluent in English/Spanish******

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:

  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented office environment

Additional Skills:

  • Microsoft Office/Sharepoint competency- Preferred
  • EMR experience- Preferred
