Pricing Analyst (Disneyland Resort)

The Pricing organization is part of a team that supports clients across Disney Parks, Experiences & Consumer Products including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise and Food & Beverage in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, pricing, promotions and optimization. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize and be a team player in a collaborative environment.

This position will report to a Manager-Pricing.

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or other quantitative field
  • Five plus years work experience in business analysis and/or strategy development
  • Proven knowledge of Disney Theme Parks & Resorts
  • Prior experience with pricing, revenue management, and/or forecasting
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to deliver on-time projects
  • Experience working with complex and large volumes of data, database applications, and data visualization software (e.g., Access, Teradata, Oracle, Tableau)
  • Minimum two to five year’s work experience in business analysis and/or strategy development
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated familiarity with statistical analysis and software
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, creative thinking, and partnering skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shift readily between technical and non-technical terminology depending on audience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated exceptional sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact
  • Achieve business goals and objectives – Evaluate key business drivers to measure the success of pricing decisions, incorporating science-based insights to identify strategic opportunities, and collaborating with partners to project manage and execute annual and promotional pricing decisions and initiatives
  • Integrate – Partner with the Decision Science team to integrate advanced analytics and insights into the resorts pricing process
  • Collaborate with key partners – Develop and maintain relationships with Marketing, Research, Legal, and Forecasting/Revenue Management to communicate performance, understand new initiatives, and identify impacts of strategic opportunities
