Pride and Prejudoodles is seeking a new Dog Trainer with at least 2+ years of experience of professional canine training (training your own pet does not count towards professional experience).

Pride and Prejudoodles is a training institute that selects only the best of our extensively genetically tested Goldendoodles and Labradoodles to be trained into well behaved Pets, Therapy and Emotional Support dogs. So if you have a heart for dogs and making the world easier for those with special needs, then this job is for you.

About You

The ideal candidate has a mastery of canine training techniques and a portfolio showcasing their past trainees. You will need to have a passion for well behaved dogs and the patience to handle puppies.

The ideal candidate has one or more canine training certificates.

The ideal candidate is responsible, hard working, self paced, clean cut (no visible tattoos), professional in demeanor, and can articulate well with clients.

This job requires consistency over several months. So the ideal candidate will have a track record of staying with previous employers for several years at a time.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of an associate's degree. High school diplomas are acceptable for otherwise stellar candidates, but GEDs are not accepted as the highest level of schooling completed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Caring for social and physical needs of the puppies in your care.
• Regular daily training sessions to help them evenly progress through the training curriculum.
• Writing brief updates on the puppy’s progress as it moves through the course.
• Meeting with and communicating with clients on occasion
• Participating in occasional promotional activities for the training program.

Salary Range

Salary range: $32,000 - $45,000 a year depending on skills, track record, and a few variables.
