We are now accepting candidates for a Field Support Chef to ensure the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of the Culinary and Dining Services operations within RLC kitchens. The Field Support Chef works collaboratively with the Community Management team, Executive Chef, and Director of Field Operations, to create a resort-like dining experience for our residents and their guests.

  • You’ll be responsible for supporting the Culinary and Dining operations within a group of RLC communities while demonstrating and defending the RLC culture.
  • You’ll travel extensively while performing on-site community observations and quarterly Total Quality audits.
  • Proactively connect with residents and guests to gather feedback and assess the community team presence and influence.
  • Assist in hiring and training the Executive Chef team and provide ongoing development to maximize their potential.
Here’s what we are looking for in the right candidate:
  • Demonstrated success in a multi-unit senior living community strongly preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking with increasing responsibility.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • A Culinary Arts degree or Business degree preferred.
  • Able to foster positive relationships with residents, community leadership and peers.
