Through a continuum of services, Woodward Community Based Services, a division of Sequel Youth and Family Services, provides education, counseling and supervision to individuals and families in their home community. Our professionals work in conjunction with local resources to develop a strength-based plan to support success for our consumers.
Some of the duties include providing daily skill building groups, participating in the treatment of the youth through observation, interaction, scoring, limit setting, and implementation of treatment plans; and assist in the development of a positive peer culture.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social science field, Bachelor’s degree in non-social science field and 30 hours’ child mental health training, AA degree in social science field and one-year experience in child mental health services, or a high school diploma/GED and minimum of 5 years of child mental health service experience. It is an essential function of the job that staff be capable of participating in physical training activities and be capable of physically restraining the students if and when necessary.
