The Business Planning team is responsible for collection and publication of performance metrics associated with the execution of Well Drilling and Completions projects for the Deepwater line of business globally. The team is also accountable for gathering performance and execution data available for partners and competitors globally from vendors, regional and national regulators, and multiple consortia, to enable benchmarking and analytics against others in the industry.
The Business Analyst is expected to support several projects or initiatives being managed by the team. Specifically, the Business Analyst should work with engineers in operations to capture the performance data required to participate in multiple consortia in the industry.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
7+ years of industry experience.
Has full knowledge of Exploration and Production data types and work practices gained through working in the well engineering or production domain.
Possesses an excellent understanding of the business applications used in the Discipline related workflows and can give in-depth support to the business staff to properly manage the data across these. Furthermore, has a skilled understanding of the Opportunity Realization Manual. Significant knowledge of all issues related to data security, data entitlements, and legality, confidentiality, data governance.
Communicates well, both orally and in writing. Exhibits a meticulous method of working and attention to detail. Service-oriented and customer focused, but also goal oriented and a good team worker. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, but also has analytical abilities to enhance problem- solving.
IT skills – MS Word, MS Excel, ThinkCell, Spotfire
