Position Summary:
Works within all phases of the sales cycle, pre and post to support the Lenovo sales efforts at Staples Technology Solutions throughout North America. The position is located in US, close to airport for National travel. Work directly with Staples sales and operational teams across NA to identify and close sales opportunities, as well as provide program and resource support. This includes customer facing sales visits with STS resources.

Responsibilities:
  • Takes action on all sales opportunities, supporting the Staples sales teams – inclusive of Midmarket, Commercial and Enterprise.
  • Assist Staples sales teams with new Lenovo Funding submissions and tracking approved or denied nominations.
  • Assist Staples sellers by recommending Lenovo Products, providing roadmap guidance, marketing info and etc.
  • Be the Staples sellers’ window into Lenovo. Strive towards excellence in providing the best CX (Customer Experience) for the Staples sellers and the client they cooperatively served together. Provide Sales support –
  • Proactive engagement of partner sales reps based on Open Quotes report and on sales analytics.
  • Be able to stand in front of an audience and present the Lenovo story and value statement.
  • Be able to facilitate onsite sales calls with Staples sellers.
  • Provide high-level weekly updates on the state of the business.
  • Understand and be able to describe the Lenovo organizational structure.
  • Sales lead development and follow up – educate and guide Staples sellers.
  • Participate and contribute in weekly team calls (pipeline, cadence, touchpoints, etc.).
  • Coordinate and participate in partner visits and events, such as quarterly visits to MM call centers in Maitland and Livonia.
  • Log and Participate in pipeline review in collaboration with Lenovo Leadership and Staples Leadership.
  • Share point of view to help develop account plans and territory mapping to understand profile and actions to develop business.
  • Maintain a detailed level of communication with field Sales Teams
  • Participate in events, vendor floor days, lunch and learns, planning sessions, etc as required.
  • Adherence to company policies, procedures and shared values of both Lenovo and Staples.
  • Document work performed in each of the foregoing areas and package this proof of performance for submission to Lenovo on a quarterly basis.
***Travel required up to 65% nationwide***


Qualifications
Basic:
  • 5-10 Years of Sales or Operational Experience with Technology Products
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Sales Skills
  • Technical Skills (Vast Product Knowledge I.T.)
  • Microsoft Tools

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree Recommended
