Job Description: The Senior Systems Engineer will provide
technical/engineering support to the Air Force’s Server
Consolidation Environment (SCE) and Area Processing
Centers (APC) systems/programs. This individual will be
the Telos-designated site lead. Specific
responsibilities may include:
Provide integration of new applications, including,
but not limited to: coordinating design reviews,
providing List of Materials (LOMs) for expansion
requirements and coordinating integration activities
with the application team or application integration
contractor.
Provide documentation of changes to the system for
application integration and delivery as well as
documentation for data recovery, protection and
migration as required.
Perform system expansion or contraction planning
activities.
Provide IA assessment and remediation.
Determine resolution of deployment problems in the
production environment.
Provide evaluation of existing SCE architecture and
site specific data center services to determine
implementation requirements at each location.
Provide reviews of contractor submittals of System
Design and Architecture Reports and Tech Order
CDRLs.
Evaluate existing APC architecture and site specific
data center services to determine change
requirements at each location.
Support PMO in all aspects of the creation and
incorporation of architecture and design best
practices.
Evaluate SW, licensing and material requirements to
determine TRN, SOR, SOW requirements.
Assist in writing TO’s, or TCTO’s as necessary.
Provide architecture design and review, 1067 or CRQ
input, contribute to integration and implementation
efforts for SOR/SOW.
Generate and test TCTOs to implement changes at all
APC sites.
Travel to other locations estimated at two (2)
Continental United States trips per year.
Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate for Server
2012 (within 30 days of hiring)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL
Server 2012 (within 30 days of hiring)
Security+ and/or CISSP or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
DoD SECRET Clearance
Experience:
Eight (8) years’ experience with MS Server 2003 or
above and windows active directory
Demonstrated advanced diagnostics and
troubleshooting abilities
Blade technologies experience in a virtualized
environment
Enterprise storage experience in integration and
migration of SAN and NAS technologies
Experience Requirements: eight (8) – ten (10) years
in related technical area with demonstrated growth
of responsibilities and expertise
Air Force Cyber background desired
The successful candidate must meet eligibility
