The Alaska Club Aquatics program is focusing on finding people that enjoy helping and teaching people.
The primary function of a Swimming Instructor is to build relationships with community members by instructing a variety of swimming and diving lessons. The instructor's working conditions will be primarily working with children and some adults in an aquatic environment. We are looking for someone who can work Monday and Wednesday mornings, Tuesday and Thursday in the afternoon and willing to sub on Saturday mornings. The Swim Instructor level should be parent/tot, preschool and Level 1. Preferred consideration will be given to instructors who are able to teach multiple levels. Instructors are expected to work as team with fellow instructors.
Pediatric/ Adult First Aid CPR certification and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification are required.
